Christel Leong

As General Manager of GSK Consumer Healthcare since October 2016, Christel is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and profitable growth in Singapore market and oversees a wide portfolio of iconic consumer brands including Panadol, Sensodyne, Polident, Scotts and Physiogel.

Christel has vast experience in commercial and business management. Prior to joining GSK, she worked in multinational fast moving consumer goods companies including Gillette, Procter & Gamble and Fonterra Brands for past decade.

As Head of Consumer Business Unit at Fonterra Brands where Christel was responsible for growing dairy consumer brands including Anlene and Perfect Italiano in Singapore, she accomplished record sales and market share for the business through effective brand and commercial strategy.

Prior to Fonterra, Christel held number of customer business development positions in Procter & Gamble. Under the role of Capability and Category Management Leader, she focused on growing talent development and capability building program for the organization. In addition, Christel has vast experience in electrical channel management where she developed and managed South East Asia distribution network of Braun business in Gillette Company.

Christel holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and International Business from University of Tasmania, Australia.
